We decided to build BiOM because we felt something was missing from our city.

For years, we’d been sold numbing as celebration and noise as intimacy. Modern life was pulling us out of alignment, falling into routines that left us more depleted than alive.

But when we stopped hustling, we came to discern the obvious: Ottawa doesn’t need another sticky bar. And it doesn’t need another exclusive gym.

Where is that missing space?

One to relax. breathe. plunge. sweat. play!

One to reconnect to our bodies, to each other, and to a deeper sense of aliveness within.

We believe Ottawa deserves that.

Along the peaks and plunges of this adventure, we met incredible people all across town who believe in the same idea: that this city needs spaces for authenticity, audacity, wonder, and transformation.

We're not a big corporation building a massive complex. We're just a couple of Ottawa kids getting our hands dirty for a shot at creating something you can actually feel.
A real place, built by real people.

But this definitely isn’t for everyone.
